The Belmont Hotel, a Leicester-based partner of HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, has this week announced the award of a four-star AA rating and two AA Rosette awards. The hotel is available to book on the GDS under the HO chain code.
According to the hotel, this award is a testament to the careful renovation that the Belmont has undergone over the last five years. Today the hotel offers fine boutique-style accommodation with 74 individually decorated guestrooms with modern amenities and an on-site restaurant serving delicious food. The hotel also houses excellent business and meeting facilities, able to host as many as 175 people; there is also ample space for other events, including weddings. Nonetheless, it has maintained its independent, family feel and Georgian charm. The hotel first opened in the 1930s, when it operated as a family-run bed and breakfast, and has been a familiar site in Leicester city centre ever since.
