HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts’ member the Sundial Group won five awards at the 2014 Meeting and Incentive Travel (M&IT) Industry Awards, held last week in London.
The M&IT Awards programme is the oldest in the meetings arena and sets the standard for the industry. With the awards decided entirely on thousands of customer votes, the result demonstrates how highly regarded Sundial are within the conference industry.
Family-owned Sundial Group won Gold for ‘Best Venue Group Meeting Product’, beating off prestigious hotel group giants including Hilton Worldwide, Q Hotels, Mercure UK and De Vere Venues, in what is a highly competitive category.
The largest of the Sundial venues, the Highgate House in Northamptonshire, received three awards on the night: Silver for ‘Best Value for Money Conference Venue’ and Bronze for ‘Best UK Management Training Centre’ and ‘Best Conference and Banqueting Staff’.
Surrey based venue, Barnett Hill, also scooped a Bronze award for ‘Best Value for Money Conference Venue’.
